Why did Vision Plus Rebrand?

In 2016, Vision Plus came to life as a brand that sought to provide high-quality electronics to the Kenyan market. What started as an ambitious dream quickly grew into a recognized Home Entertainment brand in Kenya. Our commitment to quality, customer service, teamwork, ethics, integrity, and continuous improvement saw us grow over 400% in order numbers year-on-year. As we have grown, so have our customers. They have been the driving force behind our expanding product portfolio, growing from LED TVs to Sound Bars and now Home Appliances, Accessories and Wearables, and Portable Audio. The new Vision Plus brand reflects our renewed energy in creating experiences for our customers, the vibrancy of our personality, our commitment to innovation, and our promise to provide high-quality products at affordable prices.

The Journey to Our New Logo

The inspiration for a new identity for Vision Plus started at the heart of who we are – our mission to become the leading electronics company in Africa. In the face of this goal, we realized that we needed a new identity to match the boldness of this vision. We wanted a brand that felt new but still carried elements of our story.

We insisted on keeping the plus symbol from our old logo and carried it into our new identity. The plus has been an essential part of our growth. A vision for a brand that could be more than an idea – that’s where the name “Vision Plus” came from. Umesh, the brand’s founder, sketched out his concept for this new business, and together with his wife , Shivani, a graphic designer, they developed the logo. Carrying the plus to this new identity honours the creation of the first logo and the love story behind it. With renewed energy, the plus becomes a central story piece for Vision Plus once again.

Our New Colour Palette

As a reflection of this change, we switched our primary colour to one already in our arsenal: Purple. This change reflects our uniqueness, individuality, creativity, innovation, imagination, and quality offering.
